Karrar Al Taief
Karrar joined Thordarson group in 2018 as a PhD candidate to pursue his interest in finding a solution for some questions in the biomedical field! Fascinated by hydrogels and how they applied in everyday life, he is working with the sophisticated class of these hydrogels namely "peptides." One of the main peptides class he is working with are the cell-binding peptide hydrogels for tissue engineering as an alternative for costly commercial proteins.
